The growth of the Bhartiya Group has been steadfast and strong for more than 75 years. It all began in 1927 with its foray into the field of import and export. In 1963,the Government of Czechoslovakia appointed the Bhartiya Group as representative for M/s. Motokov - the specialized monopoly organization of the Government of Czechoslovakia for export-import services. Soon the Bhartiya Group was importing Crash Fire Tenders , a highly sophisticated life saving equipment used for fighting aviation fires. By the year 1983, the Bhartiya Group had supplied over 300 Crash Fire Tenders it numerous organizations including the Indian Air Force, Civil Aviation Department, Indian Navy. Cabinet Secretariat ,and the UNDP.
